initiative Perio·Expertise is a platform created out of the importance of addressing periodontal and peri-implant diseases, due to their implications on the health of the people who have them. The aim of this site is to disseminate and share science and knowledge about the world of periodontology with all oral health professionals.
Scientific evidence has shown that periodontal disease is associated with the occurrence of systemic diseases, and represents a risk factor for the health of individuals, and for this reason, prevention, early diagnosis and effective treatment are key for ensuring that patients enjoy good health.
Perio·Aid®, the oral antiseptic indicated for periodontal and peri-implant treatment and maintenance, is promoting this initiative and invites oral health professionals to participate on this scientific platform called Perio·Expertise.
